Operational Excellence Award for Innovation 2021 goes to eCOMM Merchant Solutions

On 17 June 2021 the ceremony for the Operational Excellence Awards took place virtually and was streamed to an expectant, live audience. The awards were established by organisers Business River and entries were sought from companies across a range of sectors, both public and private. The entries were adjudicated upon by a distinguished panel of independent and expert judges with backgrounds right across academia and commercial pursuits.

These high profile awards were run in conjunction with The Irish Times, Amarach Research and award sponsors ISS.

In the category of Operational Excellence in Innovation, eCOMM Merchant Solutions was shortlisted alongside 2 other leading innovative companies. At the awards, as the results were called out live, the judges said that eCOMM Merchant Solutions had not only won the award, but 'stole the show' in the category.

Valerie Moran, Co-founder and Director of eCOMM Merchant Solutions, in accepting the award, said the company had responded very well to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and thanks to the team spirit had managed to grow, despite the adverse conditions.
